I have been holding out on mom and dad. Today I babbled a whole lot and I was babbling "dada, dada, dada" I "talked" a lot today! While I was eating dinner I talked the whole time. Mom and Dad had no idea what I was saying but I was talking.

Tonight we brushed my teeth! It was good! I like brushing my teeth, all 3 of them! Mom got me a Baby Einstein toothbrush and toothpaste. It kinda tickled a little bit when mom brushed my gums. But it was kinda neat, I wonder when she will brush them again?
Dad took pictures but of course they aren't uploaded yet--my parents AGH!

Today was not so fun... no new kitchens when I woke up.

Mom made my 15 month dr appt today, how fun? I saw Dr. Owen today, I really like her, she is nice and she is going to have a baby, how cool!

I'm going to let Mom take over for a minute to tell you about the appt because I get choked up everytime I think about it.

Ellie had to get 2 shots today and her blood drawn to test for lead.
She is 22 lbs 5 oz (with clothes on)
She is 30 inches long
All her measurements were right around the 50% percentile on the chart
Dr. Owen would like to see her talking a bit more but otherwise was very happy with her.
She wants to see her back at 18 months and then there are no shots until she is 4, we are ALL very happy about that.

So after that dreadful dr appt I took a very long nap. Mom and Dad had a few errands to run tonight and so we drove a lot and really they got me out of the car like 15 times but I saw no packages--so I am not exactly sure what they were doing. Finally we went to the at&t store and they left with a bag--don't know what they got but they got a bag!

All I can say is WWWHOOOO!!!!

I woke up this morning and had a banana and then I went in the living room and there was a kitchen!!! A real kitchen with utensils and everything! There were all kinds of things! I love the kitchen. The best part of the kitchen is all the doors but maybe the best part is the bowls where I can stir things with the spoons and forks, or maybe the best part is the cell phone that comes with it, or maybe, I don't know! I just know I love it! Hours of entertainment! ! ! !

After we played for a while with my new kitchen we went to Grandmamaw's and Grandpapaw's. It was fun! She cooked and honestly I didn't really like the food, mom and dad did but it wasn't my kind of food. Anyway, after lunch we opened up presents and I got a bounce and spin horse that hooks up to the tv-so cool! Mom and Dad got all excited when they opened up a present--it was a Wee, or Wii, or Wei, I don't know! Anyway they liked it! Then they got all excited again when they opened up these presents with all this green stuff. Something about new phones, I don't know I can't think about them right now when I have a kitchen and utensils at home to play with...

The slumber party was fabulous! I had a bit of trouble sleeping but Uncle Jason slept with me so that I wouldn't be scared. Me and Kara played and played and played! I can't wait for the next party!

After Dad got off work today we went to Grandmamaw's for dinner cause it is Dad's birthday! Happy Birthday Dada!

Then we went to Nanny's house where Santa visited and left presents and everything. It was so much fun opening presents, really what was fun was watching everyone else open their presents. All the paper ripping was awesome! I loved it.

Mom update

I didn't get any phone calls in the middle of the night last night, so that must mean the slumber party was a success! I woke up a few times to look at the clock and see when I could reasonably go get her--2 am was an option for me--but I refrained! I even thought I could just drive over there and sleep in the car in the driveway BUT be very proud that I stayed at home and slept in my bed!

Tonight is my big "slumber party". Uncle Jason and Kara came over to get me and took me to his house--I guess this goes with the slumber party deal. Anyway, I waited for him at that door with my coat on.

Today was mom's first official day off. I went to hang out with Grandmamaw today because mom wanted to finish the floor. And she did! Well with the exception of the laundry room and the closet. Mom was very happy about this. Now she can start putting furniture back and we can start playing down there again.

Mom had to go to school today, we were really hoping she would either be delayed (don't know what that means) or get to stay home all together. But anyway, she had to go and I guess her going now instead of in June is better.

I cracked mom and dad up tonight...I went into the kitchen and got the nilla wafers out of the cabinet and brought them to mom and dad. Then I did the sign language for "more". Mom laughed a whole lot at me walking in the living room with the box of wafers.

Today started out rough. I fell again and my two pokey things on the bottom went through my lip. So once again the blood started flowing--this seems like a Sunday occasion--I hope not!

Anyway, as the day went on it wasn't so tragic but I was in a bit of a mood. My cousin Kara came over this afternoon. Nina had bought us these matching pj's and wanted to take our picture. If you click on the picture you can kinda see that my top lip is not exactly normal size!

Funny thing...as Uncle Jason was leaving I insisted on leaving with him and putting a coat on. So mom said I could go. I went and played at Kara's house and mom picked me up after she went to Target. It was so fun! Mom and Aunt Trish scheduled a slumber party for me and Kara next week, what is a slumber party? I'll have to have mom google 'slumber party' for me. I am excited even though I don't know what it is because Kara was excited about!

I FINGER PAINTED! I loved it! The gushy feeling in between my fingers! So squishy! Now what I didn't like was the taste of it! Can you eat finger paint?

Well, I learned a new trick today...climbing on the toy box. Mom and Dad think they can put stuff up there and I won't get it and until today they were pretty much right. But now they have no hiding spots. I even pushed the 2 liters off the toy box and then leaned over to get them. Mom keeps saying she is going to have to take me to the hospital soon because I am going to bust my head, what does she mean?

Isn't my new dress cute? My mom should teach my sit like a lady!

Tonight the kitchen table got a new look... Dad put this rope around all the chairs??? I don't know why? I tried to move the chair to get up in it and because of this "rope" I couldn't move the chair to get up in my seat. I don't know why or how long this "rope" is going to last but it is causing my problems.

I got a new hat!!! Mom brought it home today, she was certain I wouldn't wear it but little did she know. Dad says the only reason I left it on was because I had my "StayPuff Marshmallow Suit" on, aka coat. Anyway I love it and from this point forward you can call me Snow Princess!

Pokey thing update: they keep giving me medicine and so now dramatic fits tonight but mom says they are ready to poke right through. I wish they would hurry!

I got to stay at home today with Dad! It was fun! About half way through the day I went to see Grandmamaw for a bit. While I was there I was playing with her tree, all these people have trees in there houses now?, and anyway it fell over! How did this happen? I still have no idea why there are trees in houses? Someone please explain!

Anyway, after mom got home from work the night started getting a bit rough...I am getting all four of my front teeth on the top and it hurts! I was good all day and when I saw mom my tears started flowing and I didn't know what I wanted. Nothing was making it any better. Mom talked to Grandmamaw and she had the idea to let me eat a cold thing on a stick, Popsicle I think she called it. None the less it helped. The cold made my incoming teeth feel much better. At one point I just laid my head on my arm and cried, see below.

I hope these pokey things hurry up and stop hurting.

A new friend...

What an eventful day!!! We put a tree up in the house!!! I thought trees went outside but mom and dad act like this is normal so whatever!

Mom opened this big red box of balls and things! It was so fun looking. I picked up a ball and threw it and well it didn't go far and it went in a lot of pieces. Not sure what happened there but mom said it wasn't a favorite or meaningful thing. She keeps calling these things or--na--nemts, I think! I don't really know anything about or--na--nemts. What are they? Do you know?

Anyway, they kept handing me these things to put on the tree. Some of these things I put on the tree, some of them I threw, some of them I gave back to Dad, I didn't know what to do! But I did put a Mr. Potato Head on this tree. I think I would like to have a Mr. Potato Head for Christmas.

As the day went on I took all the or--na--nemts off the tree or at least the ones I could reach and gave them back to mom and dad. They say they will decorate this tree 25 more times--I don't know why they say that???

The family came over today to eat! And boy did I eat! I got up from my nap about 3 and Nina, Popie, and Granny were all here and they had brought food. So I had some turkey, dressing, green beans, fruit salad, mac and cheese, etc... It was so good. And then about 5 Uncle Jason, Aunt Trish, and Kara come over and I eat more green beans and turkey. Then Uncle Jason gave me so much stuffing I thought I was going to pop. It was so good and I kept asking for more so he kept giving me more. My little belly was pouching all out.

Well this morning was interesting...I woke up and Grandmamaw was here, no mom??? Anyway shortly mom got home she was buying paint, I don't know what that is. Anyway, mom and Grandmamaw took me downstairs and started painting the floor. Sounds crazy to me too! Mom says it's something about the flood and the mud and it's the wrong color? I have no idea what she is talking about.

This is what I did while they were painting the floor, played peek-a-boo with Grandmamaw.

And threw myself on the floor, they had just painted, while eating a wagon wheel. Check out my socks...

Around noon mom put me down for my nap and I slept and then we went to play at Jordan's house. She invited me over for a craft day!!! I have never done crafts before, what are crafts??

We made Santa faces. Who is Santa? So many unanswered questions. Mom was helping me push the cotton on the Santa's face.

Here is Jordan's Santa! She did a good job she covered the entire Santa face with cotton! I liked hers.

Mrs. Cathey made us chicken sticks--they were so good. She also made mom some mac and cheese--I'm sure that will be good!

Tonight mom was trying to cook dinner and I am unsure as to why she doesn't need my help but anyway she made my hang out with dad BUT dad found this really cool website that let me watch Baby Einstein. So we sit and watched for a long time.

Earlier in the day I helped mom read the mail... I have no idea why she doesn't need my help, I do such a good job helping!

Tonight I was really busy--as you can see!

I have learned how to blow my nose. I hold the kleenex up to my nose and blow with my mouth. It really works to get the boogers out of my nose. Mom says I do a great job blowing my nose. She always claps and says what a good job I'm doing!

My nose is really been an issue lately...it has been runny but there are no other symptoms so my wonderful parents have no taken me to the doctor. Do you think I need to go?

Foot update: Friday mom and I went to the foot doctor something about my left foot being wrong, i don't know? But anyway the doctor was really nice and he tickled me but he says my feet are fine. He says that when children are so advanced like me and walk so early (10 months) that we don't know how to tell our feet what to do and sometimes they turn. But that I will figure it out so enough. So all is well!

I am sorry I have not been up to par lately...my nose is really running! And I am having trouble telling mom that I don't feel good. The ONLY thing wrong with me is my nose but I have been really tired lately and sleeping a lot!

I started hanging out with Ms. Deanna this week! She is pretty cool! And Mallory comes with her, I really like her. She is just a tiny bit older then me.

Tomorrow I am going to see a doctor about my feet. I don't think anything is wrong with my feet, they get me where I am going, and fast. Did I tell you I can run now? I am so good at running!

My mean mom has also cut me off of the boob except for the very early morning when she waked me up. So now I only get boob in the morning. This may not sound like a big deal to you but to me this is BIG, REALLY BIG!!! I am not very happy about this. Maybe she will realize this is a mistake and give me boob all the time...

Mom has asked that I include a wishlist for her and dad on my blog, so if you will notice there is a new addition to the right side of the blog, they think it's all about them but oh little do they know...

I got out my stroller and baby doll from my birthday today! I generally just throw babies but today I actually pushed my baby around and took kinda good care of her. I surprised mom!
Isn't my dress cute? It's Sunday so I have to wear a dress! I always wear dresses on Sunday.

Tonight I hurt myself again! I knocked the TV off the chili pot (remnants of the flood) and skinned a one of my fingers. Mom and Dad had to put peroxide on it and clean it up. I cried the whole time. It hurt!

I have started eating in this new seat! Don't I look so big? I love it! I can bang on the table and I can feed Emma better at this height... Tonight I met my new cousin, Izzy, well she technically isn't "new" she will be one year old next week but it is the first time I got to meet her. She is fun!

Tonight I met a new lady and little girl named Mallory. My understanding is that Mr. Joey will no longer be hangin with me, which I am wondering why, I mean I like him, he likes me, what is the problem? Anyway this lady's name is Deanne. And I guess she and Mallory are going to start hanging out with me, Ethan, and Emma. So I guess I'll give it a try but I don't know if I will like this or not. I really liked Mr. Joey and he really liked me!

Disclaimer:Nothing against this new lady it's just that I like Mr. Joey a whole lot! I'm sure she will be just as nice as Mr. Joey.

Today is Sunday and as always I wear a dress cause well it's Sunday! Anyway I had my Pooh dress on today, don't I look cute?

Later in the evening I tripped, here are the war wounds. When I tripped my 2 fabulous pearly whites cut something in my mouth, maybe my gums, lips, who knows cause I ain't letting mom look! Anyway, this is my first real blood ordeal. Mom of course freaked out and dad just kept saying "What do you want me to do?"

Within a few minutes mom got the bleeding stopped but she was very upset and I was upset too.

This morning my friend Andrew came over to play. He is really fun! He doesn't walk yet so I had to be the big girl and bring him toys. I did an excellent job!

Mom fixed meatloaf for dinner tonight and it was super good! I had meatloaf and carrots for dinner and kept asking for more.

Me and Mom went to Toys R Us tonight to get something, I don't know. But as we were leaving come lady decided to play bumper cars with mommy. So mommy's car got messed up. Mom says it isn't that bad but Dad says Mom's car "IS A MAGNET FOR ACCIDENTS!!!" he was saying it very loudly.

I had a fever today, Mom doesn't know what that is all about? She hopes it is something that will pass or an ear infection cause I don't really act sick but I had a fever, hmmm...if only I could talk I would tell her!

Anyway what I am most excited about it that Baby Andrew is coming over tomorrow. He is spending Saturday morning at our house!!! WHOOO HOOOO!!!! YEAH!!! This will be like our fifth date or something like that. Can't wait til he gets here!

Mom wanted me to let you all know that she has ordered a new camera cord. So very shortly she will have tons of pictures to post! She can't wait til it arrives.

This morning we, me and mom, went to breakfast with her friend Jessica. She is in town from Tennessee. It was fun. I got to eat cantaloupe, pineapple, stick my hand in gravy, and so much more. We had a good time.

Then after my nap I went to my Great Nanny's today. I got a pumpkin basket and some vanilla wafers. Loved the vanilla wafers! They were really crunchy. I tried to put the whole thing in my mouth but Mom took it out.

Well today is Halloween! Which I am still unsure as to what "Halloween" means??? I think there should be a book about all this stuff, but I can't read so I guess that wouldn't help me much! Anyway, I had a pretty normal day until after I got up from my midday nap and Mom dressed me up as Pebbles again! Nina and Grandmamaw and Grandpapaw came over to spend some time with their cute little Flinestone girl! Then these people started coming to our house and they were dressed up and they wanted candy??? I don't understand how this works but I think by next year I need to do some research and I need to start asking for candy. Well, I guess I should first get mom to let me eat some candy...I have a ways to go.

Mom has been trying to teach me the sign language for milk and tonight I finally told her I wanted milk. The sign kinda looks like I am saying bye bye but I went to the refrigerator and signed and she knew what I wanted. It was so neat...I did the sign and she gave me milk! This is cool!

Pebbles AKA Me!

Pebbles and BamBam!

Today was very busy!

This afternoon we went on a long walk, while I went on a ride mostly, for the Breast Cancer Walk. I rode until I couldn't ride any more and then Nina let me walk. It was so fun to be able to walk in the middle of the road with no cars coming at me.

Then we left there and went to the zoo for the Halloween party! Baby Andrew met me out there for our third date. We were Pebbles and BamBam, our moms and dads were Fred and Wilma and Barney and Betty. It was pretty crowded but it was a fun time.

Nina came over tonight. I gave lots of kisses to Mommy today. She loved them. Nina gave me dinner and it was so fun. She let me eat strawberries all by myself--which means I had them ALL over me. I even picked up the bowl and started licking the bowl. It was great!

But I did get choked on a mango tonight and it really scared me, and Mom too! But all is well it came up!

Mom can't seem to find the camera cord again for her camera. I will never tell where I put it...

Tonight was my very first ride in the bug! At first glance you may think I didn't like it but after further investigations you will find that I loved it! I could see everything! I was wonderful!
We went to a small car cruise tonight and then stopped by Aunt Cin's to show her my new car.

Tonight we got my new car! It came all the way from Washington state. Dad got it for me so I can fit in it, I don't fit in the truck. I really like it because it sits so low to the ground that I can climb up in it on my own. I am such a big girl!

I was trying to help dad fix it but he didn't really want my help, I don't know why?

Today Mom tried, once again, to put my hair in a spike! And thankfully for her it worked! I didn't love it or hate it but Dad thinks it looks silly. Mom thinks it is wonderful!

My friend Sabrina came over this afternoon to get my Daddy to take her picture. She is much stiller then I am. She did a good job, and so did Dad!

Mom and Dad, I mean Fred and Wilma, left me tonight! They put me to bed and left...well Nina was there but still they left me to go to a party! It looks like they had fun, who are Fred and Wilma anyway?

She got it!!!

This morning me and Mom went to this outside thing with lots of stuff to buy, she called it St. something. I don't remember. Anyway while we were there the UofL School of Denistry was making impressions of peoples hands and mom thought it would be cool to get an impression of my hand. I shocked her by sitting still for 2 minutes with my hand in a bowl of gunk. So we shall see how my hand turns out in like a month or so.

After the St. thing I took a nap and then Mom went to book club and I stayed home with Dad. He let me eat rocks, something mom NEVER lets me do! It was great! He let me run up and down the driveway and up and down the driveway over and over again. The rocks we so tasty! Kinda crunchy but good! Clearly mom is not as fun as dad....

Today I stayed with Nina while Mom worked at St. James with Grandmamaw. We had so much fun. Nina said that I teased her...I went to give her my sippy cup and then when she went to take it, I snatched it back...and laughed! Me and Nina had a fun day!

Since I am one I have gotten to eat lots of new things. Like cauliflower, spanish rice, refried beans, jello, and some other things I can't remember. It's pretty fun to be one. I like it.

I also got a new car seat! The best part about it is that I get to see Mom all the time, well while she is driving anyway.
