Went on a VERY long bike ride today! Something in common with yesterday...VERY long!
We left Momma CC's house and rode and rode and rode and kinda participated in the IronMan! Mom wanted to be in the IronMan, just in the background of a picture or something.
But anyway we rode for about 20 miles, Mom burned about 1600 calories, and I ate about that many! We almost ran out of daylight. I got home late and ate dinner late and then went to bed.

I made a new friend while I was there, this lady and her dog named Skylar. They were very nice and let me show them my moon book!
It was a very long day and of course I didn't want to nap. But shortly after being put in my carseat and the truck moving I was passed out!

Me and Mom got up early on her day off and went to the fair with Momaw! I've never been to the fair, I wasn't sure what to think of this fair thing!
We had to get up early because there was a baby shersie show that mom wanted to make sure I got to see. And it was so worth it! I got to she baby shersies and lots of them. I was mesmerized by the baby shersies. I told the baby shersies how much I loved them and I told them all bye bye and I waved to them. I was in baby shersie heaven!

We went to a border collie herding show, saw pigs, saw cows, saw ducks (my favorite), went to a dog jumping show, ate at the Mike Linnings Tent, watched some girls chop logs, got my eyes tested, got my finger printing card, walked around, and had so much fun!

Today we all went swimming outside! It was lots of fun! We threw water on each other and threw water off the deck. We had a lot of fun! I had to wear a hat cause Emma was, Mom says I am silly!
Then we had to take me to the dr for my two year check-up! Thankfully I didn't get any shots, I'd hate to get shots in front of my friends.
Here are my dr stats...
28 1/2 pounds (75th percentile)
34 inches tall (50th percentile)
The dr was very pleased with me. She was impressed with my ability to know who I am. She said that most two year olds refer to themselves as "me". But not me, I know I am "Ellwee". She said that was very advanced for my age.
I am right on track.
There is an old saying that if you double your 2 year old height that will tell you how tall you will be when you are grown. So I will be 68 inches, 5 feet 8 inches! That's pretty tall!!!

After dinner tonight dad detoured and went to the WEEEEEE! It was such a surprise and so fun!
I played and played and tried to do all the big things that mom and dad did but some of them I just couldn't do, like the wheel thing that you hang on and turn yourself. I could hang but that was about it, no turning! Anyway, I had so much fun and to be honest I think mom and dad had fun too! Dad was climbing on the ropes and mom was weeing with me, they had fun! They might not admit it but they had fun!
I was showing mom the airplane in the sky, another one of my obsessions!
Mom dearly loves this picture. A good picture if I do say so myself.
On another note I have been hanging out with Ethan and Emma and their mom, and I have a name for their mom now...Momma CC!
Mom is always scared when I cross this rope course thing but I keep telling her I can do it. And I can she just gets freaked out and worries. I am big, I mean I'm almost 2! Speaking of almost being 2 are you coming to my party?

Mom found me in my bed this morning, well actually she had a hard time finding me with all the stuff I need to sleep with. I need Elmo, bear, 3-4 night nights, raff (giraffe), baby (not pictured), and sometimes a book or two. It's a full house in my bed!
Today Ethan and Emma came over to play and we went to McD's playland this morning. Kara and Kyle met us there to play too. Well, Aunt Trish didn't let Kyle play, I don't know why? He really wanted to.
I went to get a friend of mine a birthday present today and I ended up coming out with these fabulous new shoes! They are wonderful! They are a lot like some of mom's shoes. I LOVE them! And in all reality I am pretty good at walking in them.
Tonight, me, mom, and Nina went to pick-up mom's new sunglasses and return a few things at the mall. As we walked in Von Maur I saw this big thing that I was fascinated with. An "scalcalcalater" I have never been on an "scalcalcalater" before. But it was super fun! I didn't want to leave! I need one of these at home. I'll see that I add that to my birthday list.
Speaking of birthday...23 more days until my birthday, I'm going to be 2! And only 16 days until my Dora party!!! Can't wait! Make sure you come and play at my party!

You know it's Sunday and you know that means I have to wear a dress. So I got a new dress from Ms. Shannon and then mom put these fabulous red shoes on me that Ms. Paula gave me! People must love me! The good thing about the shoes is that they make lots of noise on the floors. I love it!
Me and Mom were dancing today in the kitchen, we do it a lot! I tell mommy to "wing" which she knows means I want to sing and dance. She turns our music on and we dance away! I am modeling my drawing for you that I did at dinner tonight with mom, dad, momaw, and popaw. We saw John and Becky but they didn't have their kids with them, no fun! I haven't seen Lilly and Layla in a while but they said they will be at my party.
Speaking of party...
Mom sent out my party invitations and apparently the lovely Dora stickers did not stick very well and some people got invitations, or rather envelopes, with no invitations. So if you get an empty envelope from my mom, call her please so you can get the details!

This morning me and dad had some bonding time, we watched "toon toons." When mom came down stairs I was under the covers laying still watching CV (that's what I call it) with dad! AMAZING moment for mom to see! Me laying still!

Our first fieldtrip with mom! She was nervous about taking us all out but we were VERY good and she even had fun!

This was a scary moment for mom because immediately after she snapped this picture I dropped the ball and it almost landed on Emma's toes! THANKFULLY it did not!
Ethan is the only person I know who can get a gutter ball with the bumper up!

The people a few lanes down from us stopped mom and asked her if all these kids were hers and if they really all had E names. She said yes they all have E names and no we weren't all hers.

Went on a fieldtrip today!!! We all went to story time at the library and for some reason I did not want to get out of Momma Christy's (that's what I think I will call her) lap. I was calling her just momma but then I realized she isn't my momma but sometimes she acts like it.

Mom's first day at home with all the kiddos! So here's how this works for those you wanting to know how my mommy gets to stay home with me and my friends some days but not others.
My mommy works every Monday and Wednesday
Ethan and Emma's mommy works every Tuesday and Thursday
They alternate every other Friday.
So on the days that my mom has to work at school, I go hang out at Ethan and Emma's house. And on the day that their mommy works at school they come hang out at my house. Ethan will only be hanging out with us for a little while until his school program starts after Labor Day and then it will just be me, mom, Emma, and dog Emma! All these Emma's are confusing!
So now you know the story, here's what we did today...
lots of bubble blowing, rock throwing, coloring, eating, car riding, wagon pulling, napping, and dancing! It was great fun!

Today was a hang out day! Me and Mom went swimming all morning! Did you know my mom is brilliant??? Well, she is! She put my wee into the pool and then I wee'ed in the pool!
SO much fun!
Later on we went to eat with Momaw and Popaw and then to the car show. Me and Popaw and Momaw walked from the restaurant to the show. I love them!

Today was cleaning day and Mom's 1st official part time day off! YEAH!!! I love days off, not yeah for the cleaning part. But I will say that I loved helping with the cleaning part a little, on my own terms of course!
I love to play in the toilet and Mom actually let me today! I am as happy as a lark here, swishing around in the toilet.
And then of course you have to dust mop these hard wood floors so I am helping do that. I wonder what all mom had to do since I helped with all this?
After my nap we did meet Jessica and Baby Ava for lunch which was super fun because Baby Ava is fabulous and cute and little and I could just squeeze her (mom told me NO, don't worry she wouldn't actually let me squeeze her). Mom had a few weird things happen to her car while we were there but nothing serious and she just chalked it up to she must have hit something or done something to make it do that.
Tonight Mom was going scrapbooking and she had more weird things happen to her car. It got too hot and shut off! It just quit! Thankfully she was able to get to a gas station and some nice trucker people helped her out. Apparently, a car needs anti-freeze (which I have NO idea what that is) to run, and mom had NONE!
So, me and dad went to rescue her. Which meant Dad brought her car home to work on and me and mom scrapbooked...YEAH RIGHT! I played and ran and had a great time while Mom chased and fed me junk! Dad forgot milk and dinner, well he didn't know I'd be staying so he didn't pack any, they have got to plan better! I also started telling mom "Mom, Now!" She is not a fan of that! I don't know why?
Anyway, we survived and mom's car was just thirsty! Nothing serious! An $11 fix! I got to stay out late and it was fun.

Have I told you how much I love going to Momaw's? Today was fabulous! She just plays with me all day long and we do so many cool things.
This afternoon when mom got home, I had spread my night night out on the ground and was jumping from the carpet to the night night. I yanked my legs up and landed on my butt. It was so fun but started hurting my bum after a while.

I got up and went to Momaw's today, early! Who do I need to talk to about this work ordeal? I am losing precious sleep!
Anyway, after I got there and woke up it was a fun day. We hugged and kiss Popaw off to work and started the fun filled day at Momaw's!
I did get my bangs trimmed today, so yes I am sporting a new doo!
I also have been saying a few new things, "Over there" and "right there". Mom says I am too young to be saying this stuff but I know I'm not!

Stayed with Ms. DeAnna and Mallory today while mom worked, I'm not really loving this work thing! Just a silly picture of me today playing night night in the kitchen floor. Today at Ms. DeAnna's I had a huge poop, not a problem except I had taken my diaper off before I went to sleep and so it was all over my pj's! Nice surprise for mommy!

Mom let me sleep in this morning and I slept in...til 11:30! Yesterday was tiring! It's hard to be a car show girl!
Me and Mom and Momaw went back to the car show and hung out. It was tons of fun! We walked around inside and outside and watched all kinds of cars.
The first picture is of me and Popaw, he was helping me learn my colors as the cars left the show. I think I may know red and orange, there were lots of them.
The second picture is mom's favorite! She was pretty impressed that she took it and not dad!
The last picture shows just how hot and tired I was! It was a long couple of days, but lots of fun!

This morning mom dropped me off with dad at the car show. She tried to pack plenty of food and stuff but she was hoping that dad would remember to put the sunscreen on me.
I had lots of fun! E and E-mma came out to play and we got to play in the cars. AND guess what we got to go for a ride in the Del Soto! Me and E-mma were hanging out the window loving every minute of it.
At some point during the day it got HOT! Thankfully my resourcefulness lead me to my cooler, yes my very own cooler (thanks Popaw). Mom had filled it with food and ice and I filled it with my feet! Nice way to cool down!

Today was Mamoo's birthday, she turned 80! It is going to take me a long time to get to 80, how many more sleeps until I'm 80? Hmmmm......I have no idea!
We all met up at Mike Linings to eat and play on the playground. It was lots of fun despite the look on my face from this first picture I had a great time.
A rare picture of me and mom playing together, usually she is always taking the pictures. We were "winging."
Momaw got fried chicken, I thought this was a fishy place but whatever! Anyway, it was so good that I licked it, over and over again.
Here is me, daredevil Ellie! Several people on the playground couldn't believe how old I was, they thought I was much older because of my climbing ability. I am the next best thing to a monkey. I would get to the very top of this yellow thing and then reach for mom or dad and fall off and they would catch me. I am a dangerous! Living life on the edge!
Here is a not-so-rare picture of Mamoo crying over a present. I will say it was a good present, a cartoon sketch of little old me! It's cute!
